The recruitment criteria are age (6-13 years), interest in playing chess and skills in the game.

What are the goals and teaching methods used in the classes?

The main goal is to develop logical thinking, concentration, and strategic planning skills. Teaching methods include theoretical lessons, practical games, and solving chess puzzles.

Are the classes tailored to different levels of students' skills?

Chess classes are conducted individually in a group, allowing for a combination of different skill levels.

How often do the classes take place and how long do they last?

Classes take place once a week and last about 45 minutes.

What is the maximum number of participants in a group?

The maximum number of participants in stationary classes is 12 people, and in online classes it is 50 people.

What are the qualifications and experience of the chess trainer?

The chess trainer has the appropriate qualifications and experience in teaching the game of chess.

Do children need to have their own chess sets, or are they provided by the instructor?

The instructor provides chess sets, but we encourage participants to bring their own chess sets.

Do you organize chess tournaments or other events related to this game?

We organize stationary tournaments once a semester, while online tournaments take place once a week so that participants can test their skills in practice.

What are the costs of participating in chess classes?

The cost of participating in chess classes is 125 PLN per month.

Is there a possibility to continue learning chess outside of school?

In addition to stationary lessons at school, there is an opportunity to continue learning chess online.

The rook, a tower standing tall and strong,
Guarding the board all day long.
In straight lines, it moves with might,
Protecting the king with all its sight.

The bishop moves diagonally afar,
Like a sneaky spy, he hides his true scar.
Black or white, he dances in glee,
Unpredictable moves, that's how he'll be.

The queen, a ruler, elegant and fair,
She roams the board without a care.
With power and grace in every direction,
She's the heart of the game, the center of affection.

And lastly, the king, the one to defend,
He cannot move much, but he must comprehend.
Surrounded by pawns, he holds his ground,
For if he falls, the game's lost, we have found.
